In a letter published last week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, 260 millionaires and billionaires strongly called on heads of state around the world to be taxed more.
“
Our request is simple: we ask you to tax us
,” they insist.
This will not fundamentally change our standard of living, nor deprive our children, nor harm the economic growth of our countries.”
Renewed for three years, the initiative has more and more signatories.
Mostly Americans, but also some very wealthy Europeans.

Today, we only talk about GDP (gross domestic product, editor's note) and growth,”
notes Henri Ducellier, one of the four French signatories

But that doesn't make everyone happy.
