Can Ukraine still win the war against Russia?
If you don't act now, the chances are bad, experts warn.
Putin is already confident of victory.
Washington, DC – Will the coming weeks determine whether Ukraine wins or loses?
US National Security Advisor John Kirby is convinced of this.
He warned in a recent statement: “The next few months will be crucial for Ukraine.”
Kirby said, according to the Ukrainian news agency
Ukrinform
, that Ukraine was already forced to make tough decisions about which weapons and ammunition it could still use.
Russia's army, on the other hand, does not skimp on missiles and drones and attacks Ukraine almost constantly.
“This is a terrible situation for the Ukrainian military,” the White House spokesman said.
Russia benefits enormously from arms deliveries from Iran and North Korea, Kirby warned.
In addition, Vladimir Putin's regime would have expanded its domestic production of drones and other weapons.

Ukraine war: Russian attacks and upcoming elections crush hopes
In fact, the tide in the Ukraine war seems to have turned: While hopes of a successful Ukrainian counteroffensive were high a year ago, there is currently disillusionment.
Russia continues to show its toughness in the Ukraine war.
The Russian army bombs the country incessantly, bringing destruction and death almost daily.
In addition, there are important elections coming up in 2024, the outcome of which could be fatal for Ukraine.
In the USA, Donald Trump wants to become president again with his “America first” motto.
The USA, the most important donor, is already showing growing unwillingness to continue supporting Ukraine: for weeks, the US Congress has been blocking a new billion-dollar arms package for Ukraine.
The next few months will “decide whether Ukraine wins or loses”
Not only government spokesman Kirby, but also others have come to the conclusion that the current phase of the war is crucial.
The military expert and commander of the Austrian Guard, Colonel Martin Reisner, wrote in an analysis on the Austrian Armed Forces website in mid-January: “The support measures taken or not taken in the next few months will determine the victory or defeat of Ukraine and thus also the ' “global north” towards Russia.”

The West underestimated Russia - Putin was confident of victory
The West underestimated Russia's adaptability on the battlefield and Russia's weapons production potential, the colonel said.
The Russian government is currently brimming with self-confidence – it is convinced that it has “longer staying power”.
Putin's motto is: Russia has to hold out through the important election year of 2024, then it will be on the winning side.
Until then, the Russian units would work their way “stoically and without regard to their own losses, step by step.”
But how can this be prevented?
Like John Kirby, Reisner also advocates for more decisive military support for Ukraine.
If we don't act "quickly and decisively" now, Russia will retain the momentum and there is a risk of a long-term, frozen conflict or even a massive defeat for Ukraine.
If Putin succeeds, many voices are already warning that Russia's war could spread to other countries in Eastern Europe.
In one of its biggest maneuvers in decades, NATO is already rehearsing an emergency.
