All the capital’s educational staff have been trained since November 2022 in the inclusion of students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), says Esther Boissière, autism resource teacher and trainer. “On the ground, we noted a need for training in ordinary schools, apart from specialized teachers and medico-social workers. Welcoming autistic children could pose difficulties for teachers and carers,” says Esther.
