Victim of body shaming since her weight gain, Selena Gomez wants to let it be known that she feels good about herself, no offense to her detractors.
Indeed, as a snub to those who debate about her figure and compare the evolution of her appearance over the years on social networks, the founder of the cosmetics brand Rare Beauty shared her own feelings about the question.
She first posted a photo of herself at the age of 20, where she appeared in a bikini by a swimming pool in Miami.
“Today I realized that I will never look like that again,” she wrote in the caption of her “story” posted this Monday, January 22, before adding a second photo of herself in a swimsuit more recent, taken in 2023 in Mexico.
“I'm not perfect but I'm proud to be who I am... Sometimes I forget that it's okay to be 'me',” she confided to her 429 million subscribers.
