A car thief and caused an accident at the main intersection:
one person was killed and moderately injured in a car accident that happened between a bus and a private car today (Tuesday).
The accident occurred at the intersection on Route 444 at the entrance to Rosh Ha'Ain.
It is suspected that the driver who was driving the private vehicle stole it from Key Tikva, shortly before the accident, in which he collided with a commercial vehicle.
A team of fire and rescue fighters from the regional station in Rosh Ha'Ain was rushed to the scene of the incident and rescued both the offending driver and the driver of the commercial vehicle.
The medical team present at the scene had to determine the death of the offending driver in a short time, and evacuated the commercial vehicle to receive medical treatment at the 'Blinson' hospital in Petah Tikva, when his condition was defined as moderate.

In view of the fatal accident, the police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the case.
The investigators of the PT station and the traffic examiners of the Sharon region of the Israel Police arrived at the scene of the incident and collected findings as part of the investigation of the accident and the theft of the vehicle.

The representative of the fire and rescue team who was present at the incident, Major Reshef Roi Suissa, said: "A report was received about a car accident at the Kisah to Rosh Ha'Ain intersection, upon our arrival at the incident we identified a difficult and complex scene where there were two people trapped in the vehicle - which indicates the severity of the accident. We immediately began to assess the situation and to prioritize the response to the rescue of the trapped."
