Kick-off, kick-off, applause: Charlène from Monaco is rarely seen so happy.
With sister-in-law Stéphanie on the soccer field, the focus was clearly on fun.
Monaco – It was time for Charlène from Monacos (45) to get the ball at the charity football match between the “Barbagiuans” and “Cirque FC”.
There was no sign of neutrality on the field at the Louis II Stadium. Charlène is a fan of one team, her husband Albert II (65) supports the other.
This put the princess in an unusually good mood.

Both teams competed against each other as part of the “Fight AIDS Cup”, a Charity Foundation by Princess Stéphanie.
The Grimaldi density was high.
The event is apparently extremely popular not only with Charlène, Albert and Stéphanie, but Camille Gottlieb (25) and Louis Ducruet (31), both of whom are also involved in charity work, also didn't miss the football campaign.
In this case, the competitive behavior stimulated business, but also made for heartwarming scenes in which the princess and her sister-in-law held each other's hands tightly while they couldn't stop giggling.
A heartfelt hug showed the warmth between the two women, who usually keep their distance or at least maintain more composure.
The Fight Aids Cup
Play for a good cause!
At the Fight Aids Cup, Louis Ducruet's team, the Barbagiuans, faced the Cirque FC team.
The final score was 3-2 for the Cirque FC team.
The teams are under the patronage of Prince Albert (Barbagiuans) and the President of the Cup Princess Stéphanie (Circus FC).
Entry to the game is free with a ticket for the 46th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo or costs 10 euros/person, which will benefit the Stéphanies AIDS initiative.

There are always rumors that Charlène, who was born in South Africa, had her differences with the Grimaldi clan, especially with Albert's older sister Caroline von Hannover (67), who had replaced her sister-in-law during Charlène's protracted phases of illness. The relationship sometimes seemed to be cold.
Initially reluctant, Charlène stepped up against the orange ball in a warm Burberry coat (for 1,900 euros) and heeled boots by Gianvito Rossi (1,800 euros) and got more and more into it when Stéphanie, dressed much more sportily, kicked back courageously and the fight stopped ended unexpectedly in bursts of laughter.
From January 19th to 28th, 2024, the Monegasques will celebrate the 46th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, the Prince Rainier III.
(81, † 2005).
He was a fan of the performing arts and initially supported the circus industry and artists with the festival, now firmly linked to the small principality.
Charlène cuddles with Albert's family more and more often.
