The vhs Oberland is teaching in Fischbachau for the first time in the new semester.
Director Danielle Döbbener wants to work with the vhs Bayrischzell.
Fischbachau
- In terms of name alone, the Oberland adult education center has been present in Fischbachau since its founding: vhs-Zentrum Hausham-Schliersee-Fischbachau is the name of one of the four new units that formed the five independent adult education centers in the Miesbach district when they merged almost two years ago years together.
But until recently, the courses in Fischbachau were not really “on site”, as the vhs Oberland advertises on their homepage.
The reason: missing rooms.
Danielle Döbbener, head of the vhs center, is all the more pleased to finally be able to report enforcement - and for three different offers.
In the interview, Döbbener explains how the adult education center got the space and why it doesn't want to compete with the vhs Bayrischzell, which is also located in Fischbachau.
Ms. Döbbener, the vhs Oberland is coming to Fischbachau. One could almost interpret this as a declaration of war.
But it's not meant that way at all.

), we maintain a friendly relationship and a close exchange.
This is how the idea came about that we would try together to create an even better offer for the people of Fischbachau.
What should that look like?
First and foremost, we wanted to go broader.
There's no point in offering things twice.
Ms. Mühlbauer has specialized in the area of health and fitness in Fischbachau, and the courses have been well received.
Our goal now is to expand this portfolio.
Specifically, these are the language course “Italian for beginners” from March 8th every Friday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the middle school, with the course “iPhone – simple and understandable” on April 8th and 15th from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the meeting room town hall and the information evening “Building, renovating, insulating and heating a healthy home” on February 28th at 7 p.m. in the monastery hall.
The courses are one thing, but how did you get the rooms?
Many conversations with the community and the middle school opened the doors, for which I am very grateful.
We are now trying to respond appropriately to the vote of confidence.
Because we want to establish ourselves here.

On the contrary: an expression of the fact that we value each other very much and therefore want to work more hand in hand - in order to be able to offer the people in Fischbachau local, varied adult education.
That's why we welcome suggestions and requests from the public about which courses we should include in the program here in the future.
