Operation on the roof of McDonald's in Penzberg: The fire brigades prevented major damage.

Penzberg - Fire alarm at McDonald's in Penzberg: An advertising sign caught fire on the roof on Monday evening.
Three fire departments were called.
On Monday (January 22nd), shortly before 8 p.m., the Penzberg, Iffeldorf and Seeshaupt fire departments were called to a fire at the McDonald's fast food restaurant on Seeshaupter Straße.
According to the police, it was discovered on site that the large illuminated logo of the burger chain on the roof had caught fire.
The advertising system burned down completely.
According to the Penzberg police station, the cause was probably a technical defect.
The false ceiling and the rest of the building were spared.
According to police, the lettering suffered damage amounting to around 10,000 euros.
The fire brigade deployed with 40 personnel were on site to prevent major damage.
