France won the world baking championship on Monday January 22, ahead of South Korea and Japan, during the 12th edition of the Europain trade fair, organized from January 21 to 24 in Paris.

The Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, published a publication on X to congratulate the French team, made up of Franck Fortier, Fabien Nolay and Xavier Sacriste, and coached by Grégoire Bardet.

Sculpture on the theme of fencing

Like every year, the Bakery World Cup takes place over two days.

Ten teams made up of three candidates and a coach compete in four events.

For this 2024 edition, the competition was organized around the common theme of sport, chosen in connection with the 2024 Olympic Games which will take place in Paris next summer.
