The IDF spokesman this morning (Tuesday) allowed the publication of the names of ten reservists who fell in the battles in the southern Gaza Strip. These are their names: Maj. Gen. (res.) Matan Lazar from Haifa, Maj. Gen. (res.) Hadar Keflok from Move Beitar, Maj. Gen. (res.) Sergey Guntmacher from Ramat Gan, Elkana Yehuda Sepaz from Kiryat Arba, Maj. (res.) Yuval Lopes from Alon Shabot, Maj. (res.) Yoav Levi Mihud-Monoson, Maj. (res.) Nicholas Berger From Jerusalem, Maj. Gen. (resp.) Cedric Green from Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Maj. Gen. (resp.) Raphael Elias Moshioff from Pardes Hana-Karkur, Maj. Gen. (resp.) Barak Haim Ben Valid from Rishon Lezion.
In addition, a reservist in Battalion 9206, Brigade 205, was seriously injured.

Maj. Gen. (resp.) Yuval Lopes, Malon Shavut, a fighter in Battalion 9206 of the 205th Brigade, fell in battle in the south of the Gaza Strip, 27 years old in Nefolu. January 23, 2024/IDF Spokesman

The fighters fell in a heavy battle in the Gaza Strip, during which anti-tank missiles were fired at a tank and buildings trapped by mines, which collapsed on the fighters. The IDF spokesman is expected to make a statement following the serious incident.
