Daniel Kasao Zagiya, one of the 21 victims of the building collapse disaster in the Gaza Strip, was 37 years old when he died.
He left behind his wife Anguach and his two children, 5-year-old Eitan and 2-year-old Liu.
He is also survived by his mother from Sarat and ten siblings.
Kassau graduated from high school in Kfar Hassidim and enlisted in Kibbutzim where he served for 3 years as a soldier.
At the end of his service he graduated with honors in electrical engineering at the Technion and for the last two years he worked at the ABS company in Jerusalem.
On October 8, he was among the first recruits as a reserve fighter in Givatay.

His family said that he was a guy that everyone loved, and always set a good example for the younger brothers.
Osher, his brother, said that he "was a born leader and had all the good qualities, including honesty and respect. He always enlisted to help others.
Kassau was always a Zionist in his soul, that's why he enlisted in Karbi and always talked about this wonderful country. Thanks to his personal example, we all wanted to learn like him And we invested in studies. He simply instilled in us a tremendous motivation to succeed in life. He always directed us to be as successful as possible."
