Police, fire and rescue services prepare for an operation in a residential area.

After a man who had barricaded himself in a house in Unterkirnach in the Black Forest was abandoned for hours, the police are examining the building with the greatest caution.
As an official said on Tuesday evening, even after the 62-year-old former soldier was arrested, it was not ruled out that he had stored weapons and explosives in his house.
Unterkirnach - The investigation would now really begin and would last for a long time.
