Ryanair is to open two new bases in Italy, one in the northern city of Trieste and the other in Reggio Calabria in the far south, CEO Michael O' Leary said on the sidelines of a meeting in Milan on Tuesday.
O'Leary, who did not offer further comment or details, is scheduled to visit the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional capital later this week.
Ryanair currently has 17 bases in Italy according to its corporate website.
