A weapons convoy of the pro-Iranian militias in Syria was attacked near the town of Buchmal in the east of the country, media outlets affiliated with the rebels in the country claimed this morning (Tuesday).
In the documentation that reached the social networks, the epicenter of an explosion can be seen on the outskirts of the town of Buchmal, with sub-explosions typical of an ammunition explosion visible in the background.
Media outlets affiliated with the rebels reported that at least one truck was hit by an aerial bombardment by an unidentified aircraft.

It was also reported that the shipment of weapons was disguised in a refrigerated truck belonging to an aid organization that transports food from the territory of Iraq to Syria.
The truck driver managed to get out of the vehicle before it was destroyed.
The eastern border of Syria has become the focus of the transfer of Iranian weapons to the terrorist organization Hezbollah and the pro-Iranian militias in southern Syria.
According to foreign publications, the Iranians switched to relying on the overland smuggling route after the airports of Damascus and Aleppo were systematically attacked by Israel.
Last week it was announced that the Iranians responded to the Syrian request to stop transferring weapons through the country's civilian airports.
In the past it was announced that the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards operates at least one independent border terminal in the east of Syria that is used for the open passage of ammunition, missiles and personnel of the pro-Iranian militias in the country. Were we wrong?
