The name Joe Biden is not on the ballot in
New Hampshire's Democratic primary, but a local movement is asking voters to add it.
“Register Joe Biden
,” its organizers recommend:
“Just check the box at the end of the list of candidates, and write his name in pen.”

"even a misspelled name like Joe Bidon should be accepted

The absence of the outgoing president from the first of the primaries is largely his fault.
Biden has pushed the Democratic Party to break with the traditional electoral calendar, which makes New Hampshire the first US state to hold its primary.
