As yet unknown perpetrators broke into a single-family home in the Finsterwald district of Gmund between January 11th and 22nd.
The police are looking for witnesses.
Gmund - As the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters reports, there was a break-in in a single-family home in the Finsterwald district of Gmund.
One or more perpetrators stole valuables and cash.
The Miesbach police have taken over the investigation and are now asking for information from the public.
As a spokesman for the police headquarters reported, the perpetrator or perpetrators broke into the single-family home on Steinbergstrasse in Gmund, Finsterwald district, between January 11th and 22nd.
The perpetrator or perpetrators gained access to the building by force.
According to initial findings, valuables and cash were stolen.
The police spokesman did not want to comment on how the perpetrators got into the house for tactical reasons.
It is also not yet clear what value the stolen items have and how much cash was stolen.
According to the police spokesman, the house was generally occupied, but the family said they were abroad at the time of the break-in.
