The French Communist Party has always defended farmers and workers.
We have always defended hammer and sickle workers.
We defend the work of Mother Earth.
The peasants who are there to feed us and not to die.
They are suffering today from an economic system of excessive liberalization which creates unfair competition and kills their work.
Free trade agreements have hurt our agriculture.
I fear for French food sovereignty.
We want to allow farmers to live from their work.
Farmers also complain about the multiplication of environmental standards.
Should we see them again?
