When I took over my father's farm, he told me: 'You won't be rich, but you will have the chance to be free,'”
says Bertrand Chauffier, owner of Domaine de la Carmoye, in Cannectancourt (Oise).
“I put my heart and all my savings into this job
,” he continues, his voice trembling.
And today, because of Europe, I no longer feel free.
