Regensburg – A shocking incident occurred on Friday afternoon, January 19th, in Regensburg.
A woman who was walking from the train station towards the city center around 2:15 p.m. was the victim of a sexual assault.

According to the police report, the woman was approached at the so-called “Schwammerl” by two men who asked what time it was.
They then followed her inconspicuously.
The attack then occurred near the Carl Anselm Monument, also known as the Obelisk.
One of the men dragged the woman into a bush and raped her while the other stood nearby.
After the crime, the two men fled.
The perpetrators are not yet known to the police by name, but detailed descriptions are available, which the police have now published:
