Highlights: The city of Seine-Saint-Denis has finally refused to receive one of the removable swimming pools for next summer's Games. The city was one of four to receive the pools as a legacy from the Paris 2024 Games. Pierrefitte discreetly decided to backtrack last December. The rest of the pools will be installed during the events at the Arena de La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine) and at the Olympic Aquatic Center in Saint- Denis.

This was one of the promises of the Paris 2024 Games in Seine-Saint-Denis: after the swimming events, four municipalities – Sevran, Bagnolet, Pierrefitte and Montfermeil – were to receive as a legacy the “detachable pools” which will be installed during the events at the Arena de La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine) and at the Olympic Aquatic Center in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis).

But at the end of the process, there will only be… the first two left.
