This was one of the promises of the Paris 2024 Games in Seine-Saint-Denis: after the swimming events, four municipalities – Sevran, Bagnolet, Pierrefitte and Montfermeil – were to receive as a legacy the “detachable pools” which will be installed during the events at the Arena de La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine) and at the Olympic Aquatic Center in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis).
But at the end of the process, there will only be… the first two left.

If a ceremony was organized this Wednesday, January 24 in Sevran to announce the start of work to accommodate one of these Olympic swimming pools, Pierrefitte discreetly decided to backtrack last December.
