AWISTA's waste app receives a modern redesign and presents innovative functions for citizens.

District - The AWISTA Starnberg KU waste app now has a fresh, new design.
The revised app not only offers an attractive, modern appearance, but also some new functions that offer citizens in the Starnberg district an even more user-friendly and efficient option for daily waste disposal.
The AWISTA-Starnberg waste app, already established as an indispensable tool for waste disposal in the district, has been revised with the clear aim of optimizing the user experience and adding additional functions that meet the needs of citizens.
The new design of the app impresses with a modern appearance and focuses on intuitive usability to make access to the diverse functions easier.
Some of the exciting innovations include:
1. Optimized display for waste disposal dates:
Citizens can now immediately see when the next emptying will take place.
The personalized reminder function, which is very popular, will continue to exist.
2. Comprehensive search engine for waste
: The waste AZ was integrated into the app to support citizens in the optimal separation of waste.
3. Interactive map of recycling centers:
The app offers an interactive map with the locations of recycling centers (address, opening times) in the district to keep an overview of disposal options
4. Introduction of the exchange and gift market:
Previously, AWISTA's own exchange and gift market was only accessible via the web address.
From now on, users can easily
exchange or give away items that are too good to throw away directly via the waste app.
5. Improved news area:
Users now have the opportunity to better access press releases and current information as well as to register for the newsletter
6. Feedback options for improvements:
Users have the opportunity to provide feedback directly via the app to enable continuous improvements and adjustments.

The updated waste app is now available free of charge on common platforms.
