From Saturday 27 January the Tuscan Archipelago National Park opens online reservations for visits to the island of Montecristo.
The calendar of guided tours will be online, on the website https://www.parcoarcipelago.info/montecristo.
23 dates are scheduled starting from March 17th.
The visit, organized by the Tuscan Archipelago National Park Authority in agreement and with the operational support of the Carabinieri biodiversity department of Follonica (Grosseto), includes the departure from Piombino Marittima (Livorno) and the stopover in Porto Azzurro (Elba Island);
in two cases - 18 May and 14 June - the departures are scheduled with departure and arrival in Porto S. Stefano, with a stopover on Giglio Island.
Also for 2024, in order to facilitate reservations dedicated to residents of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, the 100 places reserved for them can also be booked online: the pre-emption will expire on 6 March.
Each calendar date allows 75 people to visit.
The cost of the excursion is 130 euros per person including return sea transport and guide service.
Minimum age of participants 12 years.
In case of adverse weather conditions, recovery dates will be proposed.
