“The amount of material damage caused cannot yet be quantified in more detail, but is estimated at several hundred thousand euros,” said a spokesman for the district fire brigade association.
The police estimated the damage in the evening at a high six-figure amount.
Numerous fire departments with around 100 emergency services, two rescue helicopters and other helpers were on site.
