An explosive device was allegedly attached this evening (Thursday) to the car of the former mayor of Bat Yam, Shlomi Lahiani, who is running in the mayoral elections.
Initially, a report of a suspicious object was received, and later the Bat Yam Municipality informed that it was the deactivation of an explosive device attached to a vehicle, which led to the closure of the street to traffic.
The one who called the police was Lahiani himself, who survived a similar assassination attempt two years ago.
