An indictment was submitted to the court today (Thursday) against Aharon Tsarkov, 64 years old from Ra'anana, who employed the two terrorists who carried out the attack in Ra'anana last week, in which the late Ada Bluestein was murdered.

According to the indictment, filed by the Sharon Arrest Branch of the Police's Prosecutions Unit, the accused served as the executive manager of a car wash business at the "Hadkel" gas station on Harushot Street in Ra'anana.

The residents of the city of Hebron - Mahmoud Zidat and Ahmed Zidat - stayed within the borders of the State of Israel without legal residence permits.

Ahmed was in possession of a fake identity card bearing the details of a resident of Beer Sheva and Tsarkov employed him in the business, after he identified himself to him using the fake card.

A few days later, Ahmed introduced Mahmoud to the defendant and told him that he was a friend of his who was looking for a job.

Tsarkov also employed him in the business, even though he did not have a legal permit.

"Under these circumstances and within the framework of the employment of Muhammad and Mahmoud at the place, on 15.1.24 the two took two vehicles that were serviced at the business, without the defendant's consent, left the place while driving the vehicles, and later carried out a continuous drive-by attack using the vehicles throughout Ra'anana, during which a 79-year-old woman was murdered and also injured About 18 other citizens, including a minor, some of whom were seriously injured," the indictment reads.

In the request for release on bail, it is stated that Tsarkov cannot be trusted, because he knowingly or blindly brought an illegal resident into his business and employed him without having legal permits.

"This dangerous potential of the two was realized when they carried out a continuous trampling attack and stabbing of civilians in Ra'anana," it said.

"Furthermore, the two took the vehicles they used to carry out the attack, from the business where they worked."

Tsarkov confirmed in his investigation that he hired Ahmed after he identified himself to him as an Israeli resident, but denied that he hired Mahmoud.

According to him, Mahmoud came to the business in order to help Ahmed in the business, but he did not hire him.

However, in videos taken from security cameras at the business, Mahmoud can be seen working there for several days and also meeting with Tsarkov on several occasions in his office.

In addition, another employee at the business testified that he was present at the interview of Mahmoud's acceptance of the job by Tsarkov.
