Weather warnings from the DWD will apply again on Friday for almost all of Bavaria.

Only a few districts or cities are exempt from this.

Munich - The weather in Bavaria is not calming down.

After the red alert was issued on Wednesday, the German Weather Service has now issued warnings again.

There is a threat of squalls.

The warning is in effect from 12pm on Friday, January 26 and is valid until midnight.

  • Ostallgäu district

  • Garmisch-Partenkirchen district

  • Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district

  • Miesbach district

  • District and city of Rosenheim

  • Traunstein district

  • Berchtesgadener Land district

  • Freyung-Grafenau district

  • Rain district

  • Cham district

  • District and city of Bayreuth

  • Wunsiedel district

  • District and city of Coburg (until 5 p.m.)

  • Rhön-Grabfeld district (until 8 p.m.)

  • Bad Kissingen district (until 8 p.m.)

Storm gusts are sweeping across Bavaria: DWD warns

“Storm gusts with speeds between 70 km/h and 80 km/h occur above 1500 m, initially from the west and later from the northwest.

In exposed locations, heavy gusts of up to 90 km/h must be expected,” said the DWD.

“For example, individual branches can fall down.

Pay particular attention to falling objects,” the German Weather Service points out possible dangers.
