The Death March Memorial: A vigil will take place there on the day of the victims of National Socialism.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The district association of Alliance 90/The Greens is calling for participation in the vigil against the right on January 27th from 11 a.m. on the occasion of the Day of the Victims of National Socialism.
Regarding the reasons, Andreas Birzele, member of the state parliament from Alliance 90/The Greens in the Bavarian state parliament, says: “Reports from survivors are beyond belief, so incredible is the horror that Jews in particular suffered under the Nazis' reign of terror towards the end of the Second World War had to.
It is a basic consensus in our society today and in all democratic parties that such injustice must never be repeated.
Anti-Semitism no longer has a place in Germany and yet threats against Jewish people are increasing again.
It seems as if a forgetfulness of history is spreading, which is making racism, anti-Semitism and hostility towards all people who do not fit into a nationalist, ethnic world view popular again.
We must all counteract this ignorance of the past through education, enlightenment and remembrance.
The Death March Memorial in Fürstenfeldbruck is a place that serves exactly that purpose and is more important than ever at the current time.
