The 74-year-old man who barricaded himself in his house alone last night after firing a few rifle shots in a state of confusion in Gavardo, in the Brescia area, was blocked and immobilized.
The turning point came with a special forces blitz.
After a negotiation that lasted throughout the night, the negotiator of the Provincial Command of Brescia, at dawn, convinced the man to open the door to have closer contact.
Upon opening the door, with the appropriate safety conditions, the Api soldiers (first intervention units) of Brescia, who were deployed around the house, blocked and immobilized him.
The police found and seized the weapons and ammunition that the man legally held and with which he had fired several shots during yesterday evening.
