Frankfurt – Schlager icon Helene Fischer (39) is not only a talented singer and entertainer, she is also an LGBTQ ally.

She proved this last year when she helped a fan come out at a concert.

At a concert on her “Rausch” tour, she responded to the poster of a spectator who wanted to come out.

The beautiful moment will be shown on ARD on Saturday, January 27th.

“I discovered a sign here, I have to address it now,” said Helene Fischer, according to

, at a concert in Frankfurt in October 2023. She approached a fan who was holding up a very personal poster.

It read: “Dear Helene, can you please help me with my coming out?”

The singer couldn't leave this uncommented and she spoke to the young woman who wanted to come out to her parents.

“Today is actually a good occasion because the concert will be shown on television,” explained Helene.

“That means, from today on, your parents will know that you are a wonderful girl and that you simply love girls with all your heart.”

The emotional moment left its mark on the tough Helene Fischer.

She thanked the viewer for their honesty and the wonderful experience.

“I’m really happy that you’re so honest and sharing this with me.

That’s really, really big of you.” She wished the girl luck and a big hug from her parents.

Then she added: “Woe, they react very stupidly.

Please give them a warm greeting from me.” Afterwards, Helene sang her song “Rainbow Colors”, which she wrote and published with Kerstin Ott (42) in July 2018.
