Princess Kate has been in a private clinic for eight days.

This causes concern for a nobility expert.

London - On January 17th, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Kate (42) had to undergo abdominal surgery.

She has now been in a private clinic in London for eight days and will have to stay there for a total of 14 days.

British nobility expert Angela Levin (60), who has accompanied the royals for many years and wrote a biography of Queen Camilla (76), expressed concern to GB News.

It's a long time to spend two weeks in a hospital when you can afford to be cared for at home.

“She could have lots of nurses and the children could see their mother,” said the nobility expert.

The fact that it was announced that Princess Kate, who once caused a lot of conversation with a passionate kiss with Prince William, would probably not be able to attend appointments again until after Easter, also seemed "really very frightening" to Levin.

Princess Kate is actually a person who works a lot: “She is not the type of woman who wants to stay in a hospital.”

So you can assume that the princess needs a lot of rest for a while after her abdominal operation and that it was probably not a small procedure.

Prince Charles also has to go under the knife - perhaps he intentionally revealed this information almost at the same time to protect his daughter-in-law?

Princess Kate: Now Prince William has to support her like his mother Princess Diana once did

The fact is, this shouldn't be an easy time for Prince William, who now has to look after the children alone.

As “bild.de” reports, his last public appearance took place five days before Kate’s operation at a medal presentation in Leeds.

The nobility expert suspects that he now feels transported back to the time when he had to support his late mother Princess Diana († 36) when she had mental problems and cried.

There is an anecdote from that time that, as a 15-year-old, Prince William pushed tissues under the bathroom door when his mother locked herself in there crying.

But Levin assumes that he can do more for his wife than this today: “But here he is a mature man and he will know that his priority is to take care of his wife, who has supported him so wonderfully.”

Prince William has canceled all appointments for the time being.
