"This is not Prosecco" is the claim of the campaign developed in London in the rest of the United Kingdom to combat the sale of the famous Italian bubbles on tap.

"The communication campaign launched in the United Kingdom in December 2023 was designed and implemented to protect the consumer - states the president of the DOC Consortium, Stefano Zanette - It is important to know that Prosecco can be sold exclusively in bottles and that the sale on tap of wine called Prosecco is a fraudulent act."

The Protection office, adds Zanette, works daily, in collaboration with the local authorities, in order to counteract the continuous phenomena which see the undue use of the term "Prosecco" in the sale of sparkling wines in the London capital.
