Thinking about summer now, that sounds tempting.
Some people hope to save money if they book a trip now.
In winter or spring, many people think about where they will go on their next big vacation.
Some people prefer to book as early as possible - in the hope that this will give them more planning security and, in the best case, save some money.
However, comparing offers is not always easy.
What should you keep in mind when booking for a longer period of time?
Until when are early bird discounts available and are they worth it?
In some cases there are deadlines up to which discounts are granted, as the German Press Agency (dpa) generally reported.
