Beyond the ban, included in the “Climate and Resilience” law, the City of Paris went further in November of the same year by establishing compensation for regular occupation of public property, for establishments having decided to continue to heat their terraces.
“The objective is the definitive elimination of heated terraces,” summarizes the municipality.
The amount of the fine can reach 1,500 euros and even double in the event of a repeat offense.
