The Manhattan court's decision came less than a year after it ordered Trump to pay Carroll five million dollars.
Then the judges accepted Carol's civil claim for rape.
The protester accused Trump of raping her in a Manhattan department store in 1995.
The current lawsuit refers to Trump's statements when he already served as president, in 2019, and was badly hit by Carol.
Four criminal cases are pending against Trump.
The trial of the worst of them, in which he is accused of sedition in the Capitol Hill events in January 2021, is expected to open on March 4 this year.
