Berenice worked as a waitress or did odd jobs, according to her mother.

"They killed her, they tortured her, I don't know how to live after this. She was beautiful and good. She talked to everyone, everyone loved her. She had friends everywhere," she said.

"She didn't deserve to die like that. They did so much to her that they destroyed her life until she lost it. My beautiful granddaughter, my beautiful angel now.

Murderers must pay

," said Sonia, Berenice's grandmother, on Facebook.

"Justice must give a strong punishment, not leaving prison again, they can do it again. For my granddaughter asking for justice and praying to God for my little princess and her little son who was left without his mother," he lamented.
