An 84-year-old man was on trial for sexual abuse.
The judge sentenced the pensioner to 21 months in prison on probation.
Wolfratshausen - The judge's look betrayed disgust when she entered the courtroom with her two lay judges after the verdict was deliberated.
And her words reinforce this.
“The days of old men touching young girls’ breasts and dismissing it as a trifle are long, long gone,” judge Friederike Kirschstein-Freund made it clear to the defendant.
Man convicted of sexual abuse: 'It's sorry what you did to this girl'
“It is suffering what you have inflicted on this girl.” The 84-year-old, to whom these sentences were applied, had to answer for sexual abuse of children in conjunction with sexual assault before the youth jury court at the Wolfratshausen district court.
He was sentenced to one year and nine months in prison.
The sentence was suspended for three years.

The incident occurred in early summer 2022.
According to the indictment, the pensioner is said to have sat down on the couch while visiting a neighbor who was friends with her then twelve-year-old granddaughter and asked her in a whisper: "Can I touch you?" The man ignored the student's decisive "No!" and slapped the girl instead Hand pushed under clothing and grabbed breast.
Defense attorney Burkhard Pappers said his client fully admitted the crime he was accused of.

Pensioner in court: girl is spared from testifying
When the police came to search the senior's apartment last summer, there was "no real remorse evident," explained the investigating police officer.
“I had the impression that he didn't really explain what it was about.” This feeling was also evident at times during the negotiation.
“We are not so sure whether you really feel remorse,” Judge Kirschstein-Freund let the defendant know that the court had doubts on this point.
However, it was to the senior's credit that his confession spared the now 14-year-old teenager from having to testify in court.
According to the police officer, the girl appeared alone at the police station in Wolfratshausen last year and reported sexual acts after she felt harassed by the man over a long period of time.

The jury followed the prosecutor's request with a sentence of 21 months, which was suspended.
As a condition, the pensioner must pay 1200 euros to the injured party.
The court also ordered the man to refrain from any encounters or contact.
“If you see her somewhere, turn around and go in a different direction.” Unlike the prosecutor, the court did not consider the act to be a low-level sexual act.
“It is disgusting and disgusting what you have done.
And highly criminal.
You are a criminal if you do something like that,” emphasized the judge – and made it clear: “She said no.
And even if she had said yes, it would be punishable.”
