This Opel collided head-on with a Jeep on the B304 near Baldham.

A serious accident has occurred on the B304 near Baldham.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee and an Opel collided head-on.
There were three injured.
Baldham
- The accident occurred on Thursday, January 25th, around 11:45 a.m. about 500 meters east of Baldham on the B304. According to the Poing police station, two cars (an Opel and a Jeep Grand Cherokee) collided head-on.
The cause of the accident is said to be the Jeep driver who was traveling towards Munich.
Both cars overturned after the impact.
The police have not yet been able to provide further details about the accident.
Debris field at the accident site
The wreckage ended up lying on the roof about 50 meters apart, eyewitnesses from the accident site report.
In between there was a debris field made up of shards, small parts, wheels and a spoiler.
The property damage is 80,000 euros.
Jeep slides on its roof and crashes into VW Golf
The Jeep, which was sliding on its roof after rolling over several times, had crashed into a VW Golf, whose driver had just managed to bring the car to a stop.
When the fire brigade arrived, all of the occupants had already been freed.
According to information from the Poing police station, three people suffered minor or moderate injuries.
A rescue helicopter was also used, but in the end it was not needed.
The federal highway remained closed for several hours to allow the accident to be recorded and the subsequent cleaning to take place.
