There was a serious collision on the A99 on Wednesday evening.

A group of fans had a serious accident on the A99 in a backlog due to Bayern's game against Union Berlin on Thursday night.
The police report seven injuries.

- On Thursday night, around 11.45 p.m., a backlog formed on the A99 in the direction of Lindau near Neuherberg (Oberschleißheim municipality) due to FC Bayern's catch-up game against Union Berlin, reports the Freising traffic police station.
A 25-year-old Bayern fan from the Garmisch area must have recognized this traffic jam too late in the car with four friends on the way home from the game.
39-year-old from Munich has to be cut out of the wreckage of the Skoda
The young man rammed a Skoda occupied by three Munich residents.
The collision was so violent that all seven occupants were injured.
The passenger in the Skoda, 39 years old, was trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle and had to be cut out by the fire department.
To do this, the roof of the car was cut off.
He was seriously injured, as was the passenger in the BMW, 22 years old.
All seven injured people were transported to clinics, three of whom were taken to shock rooms, reports the Munich fire department.
The Garching volunteer fire department was also in action, with 20 forces under the leadership of Commander Christian Schweiger.

Eight first responders cared for the injured until ambulances arrived.
The police estimate the damage at 40,000 euros.
The two drivers were sober, the police emphasize.

The BMW driver who caused the accident is now being charged with negligent bodily harm in traffic.
