, with the aim of creating his own business in a different country and helping his family.
A story of progress

Darío had to go to work at an early age
, which caused him to interrupt his studies, in his words.

At the end of his vacation,
he returned to Argentina and suffered a tragic loss: the death of his mother

he discovered his true passion: barbering

To improve himself in the subject, he decided to do training.
Over time,
he ended up becoming a professional barber
with the intention of owning his own business in the future.
Little by little,
he found himself cornered by the country's economic situation
and began to think about the possibility of progress elsewhere.

The first months of adaptation are never easy
, one has to get used to a different language and a new culture.
Despite this,
he tried everything
.
Once he arrived, he got to work getting a job.
After a few days,
they hired him as a gardener
and some time later he moved into the construction industry.
What he was not going to imagine was that
a work accident was going to cost him his job.
It was a sign of destiny

What made it impossible became
the perfect opportunity to dedicate himself to what he really liked

He found love and his life changed
He set out to cut his friends' hair and that way, with the money raised, he bought the machines necessary to work.
The interesting thing is that
in the United States you need a license to work in the trade
, therefore, Darío had to complete 1,600 hours of study and take three written exams.

After passing and having the necessary requirements,
he looked for employment in hair salons and was hired as a barber
in a well-known establishment.
In a blink of an eye,
He found himself running
a business with a clientele of almost 400 people.
In 2021
, through mutual friends, the young
He met Priscila, a Latina who was born in the country of freedom.
That woman
became his partner and his most unconditional support

Shortly after,
in August of that same year, they said yes and were married.

Upon arrival,
Darío did not have knowledge of the English language
, so he became familiar with the language in practice.
In his first jobs he learned and then
his girlfriend helped him reach an intermediate level

“You make a lot of money in my job.
Per week they pay me between 1,500 and 2,000 dollars

allows me to save and have a good standard of living

That way, I can set long-term goals and achieve them,” explains Darío.
Despite being thousands of kilometers away from his hometown,
he never forgot Argentina

I watch Argentine soccer all the time
and I have the habit of drinking mate and fernet almost always.

I collect national team t-shirts
and I like to make barbecues,” says the barber.
Currently,
he works as a manager in one of the most recognized barbershops in Sin City
.
At the same time, he has his own car and great economic stability.
Soon, he plans to buy a home with his partner and set up his dream business.

I have the life I always wanted

It is not easy to start from scratch, but it is worth it,” says Darío from his new home.
