The date is symbolic.
Three days after International Women's Sports Day, the Marcel-Cerdan sports center in Levallois-Perret will take on the colors of the Hauts-de-Seine departmental council this Saturday evening.
Which will formalize, on the occasion of the Women's Volleyball League A match against the Pays d'Aix Venelles club (Bouches-du-Rhône), the labeling of the local team the Mariannes, as "Club des Hauts- de-Seine”.
And more broadly its support for women's sport.

Although the original club has existed since 2003, it has undergone changes several times.
The latest dates back to spring 2023, with the merger between Stade Français Paris Saint-Cloud and Levallois Sporting Club (LSC).
Today, the Mariannes – the commercial name of the team – are based in Levallois, where the professional players live and train.
The club is financially supported by the three cities – Levallois, Paris and Saint-Cloud – but also by the Ile-de-France region and now the department.
