will be examined in the National Assembly on January 30 2024.
As it is drafted, this project is silent on the consequences of this development on the protection of the conscience clause which aims to guarantee health professionals the right to refuse to participate in carrying out an act contrary to their personal, professional or ethical beliefs.
Recourse to one's conscience is an essential freedom of any person exercising a profession with responsibility.
