The trained painter and varnisher originally became known to a larger audience alongside his ex-wife Iris Klein (56), who in turn had jumped on the TV bandwagon of her daughter Daniela Katzenberger (37).
For a long time only a minor character, Peter catapulted himself into the headlines of the tabloid press about a year ago when his alleged affair with Yvonne Woelke (42) caused a lot of fuel in his relationship with Iris.
The newly single took advantage of the media attention to quickly start a hit career that is expected to gain momentum again this year.

In an interview with “Schlager.de”, Peter Klein revealed that he is currently working on numerous songs in the recording studio, including some new versions of well-known hits.
“My plans are that we are currently in the process of recording new titles.
I’m also recording a few cover versions for this.”
The reality star is particularly looking forward to the upcoming concerts: “Of course I hope that I can play a lot of performances.
Whether it's Mallorca or Germany or Austria or Switzerland, it doesn't really matter to me.
The only important thing is that a lot of things will take place so that I can do what I want for the future – namely singing.”

Although Peter Klein appears modest in the interview, he shows that he definitely wants to advance his career.
When asked whether he had already spoken to pop king Florian Silbereisen (42), he explained: “Actually not with Florian Silbereisen, but I spoke to Giovanni Zarrella (45).
I met him when I was at the morning magazine.
He was there that day and we talked briefly and then he came up with music and asked me, you sing now too.
I still knew him from before and said, yes, I'll do it now too.
Maybe there will be an opportunity for me to appear on your show.
Let's see what'll happen."

However, Peter himself knows very well that his breakthrough still needs some time to get going.
“My God, I’m really young, at least in the industry.
This is completely new territory for me and they first have to become aware of you,” he says optimistically.
