Both activities were recorded as they splashed two types of soup on the painting and then crossed the barrier placed in front of the artwork.
One of them gave a speech in which she called on the governments to act in order to prevent a "climate disaster".
Security guards of the museum immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and instead of evacuating the two brains, they began to place mobile barriers in front of the incident.
It is important to note that the painting was not damaged, as it is protected by a glass barrier as well as a glass frame that aims to protect the work from vandalism.
The act caused tremendous outrage in France, where the public sees the work of art as an integral part of the cultural heritage of France and Europe.
