Creativity in Mittenwald knows no limits.

Even a camel can shake up the carnival celebration.

The costumes were a source of amazement.

In Wallgau, the fire brigade volunteers showed off their acrobatic side.

Mittenwald/Wallgau

- Suddenly there was no horse in the hallway, but a camel on the dance floor - life-size.

The oriental desert animal was of course not real, but made from construction foam.

Nevertheless, the jury of the carnival wreath in Mittenwald's Gasthof Postkeller under the motto “1001 Nights” was impressed.

This was made up, among others, of Matthias Herbrechtsmeier and Franz Lipp (Dauberweiß), the chairmen of the two participating clubs, the Historischer Spielmannszug and the Gebirgstrachtverein.

They awarded prizes for the most creative costumes.

The winners were happy about the foolish challenge cup.

“It was a close, head-to-head race,” says Herbrechtsmeier, who, like Lipp, was happy about the rush.

The carnival group around marching band member Stefan Fütterer (Shah) was also quite imaginative: the carnival enthusiasts had built an entire sedan chair with which the “Shah” was carried through the inn, where the Karwendelbuam played for a dance.

There was also a bombshell atmosphere in Wallgau: there the Oscar went to the Wallgau volunteer fire department with the “first German fire department television”.

Because what the boys from the military did again on Saturday evening was definitely film-worthy.

The numerous visitors were sure of that.

In the guest's fully occupied house in Wallgau there were all sorts of funny, humorous, imaginative, imaginative and original things to see.

The creativity of the carnival costumes under the motto “The Great World of Television” seemed seemingly limitless.

Busy bar bees served drinks at a “1500 centimeter” long bar.

The show performed by the volunteer fire fighters thoroughly entertained the audience in the hall.

“Simply a great atmosphere,” said Hans Holler, first commander and board member of the Wallgauer Floriansjünger, delighted.

A little mean, but still charming, as you know him from television, Dieter Bohlen (impersonated by Jakob Mücke, who looks very similar to the original) led through the show with his best friend Bruce Darnell (Andreas Schöner).

A hit was “Texas Girl” by Hubert “Jenny” Holzer and Korbinian “Mel” Sprenger from the TV show “LOL” (“Last one Laughing”).

The three ladies from “Biggest Looser” also put on an elf-like performance – in a pink tutu with a winner’s crown.

The fire brigade's own Prinzengarde with Princess Hannes and Prince Benedikt as well as the twelve Funkenmariechen were the culmination of a glamorous show.

This year again the Isarwinkler Spitzbuam heated up the carnival enthusiasts with cool music, hits, oldies and current hits.

They shook their legs and got the mood going.

“I'm off to next year,” said Christina Holzer, who performed the Disney classic “101 Dalmatians” with her friends.
