The possibility of transforming the clubs into Sports Limited Companies (SAD) was stopped this Tuesday after the Federal Justice applied a precautionary measure against the three articles that promoted this action in the DNU announced by president Javier Milei in his first weeks in office.
The ruling was signed by Elpidio Portocarrero Tezanos Pinto, in charge of the Federal Court of Mercedes, based on a presentation made by the Jumping League, affiliated with the Argentine Football Association.
"The Argentine Football Association informs that the FEDERAL COURT OF MERCEDES, by virtue of the action instituted by the Salto Football League, an entity affiliated with the Argentine Football Association, within the framework of the orders No. 124/2024 entitled " JUMP FOOTBALL LEAGUE CIVIL ASSOCIATION against the NATIONAL STATE on a declaratory action of certainty of unconstitutionality issued the following precautionary measure: II.- Give rise to the precautionary measure requested by the Jump Soccer League Civil Association, after a sworn bond, ordering the State National the suspension of articles 335° and 345° of the Decree of Necessity and Urgency No. 70/2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic on December 20, 2023, whose entry into force occurred on December 29 of last year, until the final sentence is handed down
