A trivial dispute turned into a tragedy on Wednesday January 24, in Nice,

During the morning, an 84-year-old woman who was walking her dog in the paths of Arson Park, Riquier district, was violently attacked by a passer-by, also walking with her pet.
It was also following a disagreement over their respective animals that the situation degenerated.
The passer-by, aged 27, initially insulted the octogenarian profusely, before hitting her and then pushing her to the ground with force.
Without turning around, the youngest resumed her walk, as if nothing had happened.
After getting up, not without difficulty, the unfortunate octogenarian managed to return to her nearby home.
His condition then gradually deteriorated, to the point that emergency services were notified by his worried daughter.
Victim of head trauma and presenting a subdural hematoma, the latter was transported to Lenval hospital, in Nice, with a vital prognosis.

“A regular at the square”
At the same time, an investigation was opened and entrusted to the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Security.
Thanks to city cameras, the police managed to identify the perpetrator.
Two days after the attack on the old lady, she was arrested at her home and placed in police custody.
During her hearings, she admitted the facts, explaining that she had not considered the consequences of her action.
“She’s a regular on the square.
She is known for insulting people gratuitously
,” confides a police source.
At the end of her police custody, the young woman was indicted for “intentional violence against a vulnerable person followed by permanent disability”.
A judicial investigation was also opened on Sunday.
After his appearance before a judge of freedoms and detention (JLD), the accused was released and placed under judicial supervision pending his trial.
