The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, presented this Tuesday the new
"Management Protocol for high-risk prisoners"
from the Federal Penitentiary Service, which she defined as "a transcendental milestone" in the commitment to the security and management of people deprived of the freedom.
It will begin to be applied from tomorrow.
"There will be
a true isolation
of crime within the prisons," he said during a press conference at the Ezeiza Federal Penitentiary Complex.
The national official specified that from prison there are people who occupy "hierarchical links" in criminal organizations that have direct connections with accomplices "who carry out their directives outside."
"That is why we have decided to carry out this protocol so that
the person deprived of their liberty
for having committed hitmen, crimes, sale of narcotics, or everything together is disconnected, because they are polirrubruo organizations, to generate
a true reality of isolation of crime within prisons and in relation to those who operate outside
," he explained.
There, he detailed that
the use of cell phones will be prohibited
by these criminals who have the possibility of escaping, directing criminal acts from inside prisons, intimate or corrupt officials, hinder judicial actions, or coerce other inmates for their objectives. .
The new protocol will establish a new system of communication with the outside world, with specialized personnel with a confidential identity,
with "strict prior authorization
. "
