Eduardo Belliboni
ended up
on the ground
in the demonstration against the Omnibus Law in front of Congress, where Deputies were discussing Javier Milei's project.
In a confusing episode, the piquetero leader fell to the floor and had to be attended to by his colleagues, including deputy Myriam Bregman.
Belliboni was one of the picket leaders who marched to Congress this Wednesday to demonstrate against the Omnibus Law.
After 6 p.m., the Polo Obrero leader remained on the ground,
staging a sit-in
to cut off traffic on Rivadavia Avenue.
Prefectura, which had arrived via Callao Avenue, was advancing on Rivadavia to clear the avenue.
First he used pepper spray to push back the protesters.
Then he advanced to push them against the square.
Applying security protocol, he tried to evict the protesters using pepper spray.
In the midst of the struggles, Eduardo Belliboni ended up lying on the floor, face up, for several minutes.

The Polo Obrero leader recounted how he ended up lying on the ground after a tense episode with the Gendarmerie.
"They beat me with sticks and I lost consciousness," Belliboni explained minutes later, when he had already recovered.
After the incidents, several deputies went down from the premises to the street to help the protesters.
Along with the leader of the Polo Obrero, Myriam Bregman, Christian Castillo and Romina del Plá were seen, as well as the Buenos Aires legislator Gabriel Solano.
