Fritz, a handsome mixed breed, ended up in the animal shelter.
Originally from Romania, it has a moving history.
It turns out that Fritz is not only happy, but also brave.
Because his former owners were apparently allergic to him, they had to give dog Fritz to the Dellbrück animal shelter in Cologne at the beginning of January.
The pretty mixed breed originally comes from Romania, as the animal shelter writes on its homepage.
He finally came to Germany through an animal protection association.

Fritz's age is unknown, but is estimated to be just over three years old.
“He is an absolute dream guy, nice with his peers and absolutely friendly to people.
“He’s not pushy, but he’s not shy either, he’s just there and ready to give his heart away,” is his loving characterization by the animal shelter.
Dog Fritz has health problems - two operations should help
Mixed breeds like Fritz are considered the most popular dogs among Germans.

But shortly after he moved in, the animal shelter employees quickly noticed that something was wrong with the lively and always in a good mood dog.
“Unfortunately, we quickly noticed that something was wrong with his gait,” says the

But mixed breed Fritz remains brave and waits full of anticipation to move out of the animal shelter.
According to the homepage, a new owner has now been found for the four-legged friend - where he is listed as “Reserved”.
After two operations that Fritz is now facing and his complete recovery, the dog is finally ready to move into his new home.

According to the homepage, the employees don't know exactly what Fritz can do and knows, "but he will definitely quickly learn everything you need to be able to do and wrap his new people around his pretty paws in no time."
