Reduce the wage disparity between women and men, at all levels of employment, to reach a 1% difference.
It is one of the main objectives of Invitalia's 2024-26 strategic sustainability plan, which also aims to reduce the gap between the highest and lowest incomes of employees by 20%.
The plan, approved by the board of directors, is made up of 13 commitments and 34 objectives to "maximize the environmental, social and governance impacts of Invitalia's activities", explains the agency, which is committed, between now and the next two years, to increasing the presence of women in managerial roles and to develop work placement projects for people in socio-economic difficulties.
As regards environmental impacts, the commitment is to continue to reduce the consumption of printed paper up to 80%, while implementing a strategy for the reuse of plastic waste and WEEE materials.
The agency also aims to adopt ESG criteria in the selection of its suppliers.
Another objective concerns the orientation of financial flows towards the support of eco-sustainable economic activities, in line with the objectives of the Pnrr and the new community programming.
On the governance chapter, Invitalia will work to "continue to guarantee maximum transparency" and to "fight corruption, also through training, digitalisation and the adoption of innovative technologies".
